  I was a patient if Jeni until she left the practice. When I made an appointment to go back, they put me with Dr. Gurney. From the time she entered the room she dismissed me as a human. She walked in and said her name, went over to the counter and opened my file and told me that I was overweight and asked me about weight loss. She didn’t want to help, but just attack me. She told me that fat people are often depressed and would be happier if they lost weight. She said she was direct, but I found her to be rude without compassion for other people. She didn’t offer any help, but just wanted to attack me. I do not recommend Dr. Gurney to anyone. I told them that I would not return. A phone complaint was made, but they don’t seem to care as they have not called to apologize for the way I was treated.
